By anyone's definition, Jim Holcomb is a successful Realtor. Unlike many, though, his accomplishments do not all fall into one category. He's mastered many different areas of his career, each one adding to his skills and experience.
His 21 years in manufacturing (culminating as vice-president) provided a wealth of experience - and many accomplishments - in management, organization attention to detail and follow through. As corporate controller, his financial knowledge and skills accomplished many goals. As national vice-president of sales, his presentation and selling skills brought success. And as a management consultant, he developed the skills to educate and advise business leaders which helped them make wise and profitable decisions. And now, he's added over 13 years of successful Real Estate experience to his list of accomplishments.
"My 30 years of professional experience consisted of using financial skills, sales talents and counseling others in making good decisions. Personally, I have always enjoyed working with people. Real Estate allows me to use my best skills and yet do the things I really enjoy. It's very rewarding to have a career where I am right at home."
Of course he's accomplishing new goals and reaching new levels of success. One of the nice things about these successes is that they are shared directly by his clients. "What I like best about real estate is meeting new people, turning them into lasting friends," Jim explains, "and the real satisfaction of having helped them accomplish a monumental goal in their lives."
Jim also has personal accomplishments of which he's very proud. He's an avid sports participant and enthusiast - plays softball, baseball, golf, basketball, and racquetball. He;s also an avid Detroit Tigers fan and has attended their Fantasy Camp seven times, making friends with many former players and coaches.
