Almost every realtor tells you that they are number one in someway or somehow.  I don’t believe in this theory.  My theory is a little different.  I believe my clients are #1, not the agent.

My philosophy about real estate is pretty simple.  If I give good service to my clients, they will tell 4 people.  If I give bad service, they will tell 64.

To sell your home in this market you can't rely on just an MLS listing and a sign in the yard. I don't recommend the same old ineffective marketing most agents rely on.  These methods are not enough. In a buyer's market an MLS listing doesn't do much for you since there are hundreds of comparable homes available in your area and in your price range.  What will set yours apart?  A newspaper ad, an open house?  No! Very few homes are sold through these methods.  If that's all a realtor can offer you then you need to keep looking.  You need an aggressive agent with new ideas.  Now that over 70% of comsumers turn to the internet to find a home, it’s critical that you find someone who subscribes to multiple websites.

  Marketing is expensive and the realtor is at risk... He spends all of the money up front and doesn't recover any of the costs unless the home sells.  A weak realtor fears this reality and therefore spends very little.  A strong agent however would be spurred on by this...wanting to spend even more to ensure that the home sells quickly and the investment is recouped.
